Friendship

I write this for you my dear friend, 

So that you know, that you've always helped me amend

You came to me like "An angel of God",
Since we met, everything looks good which once looked flawed

Though I don't remember the day we met,
But I know for sure that this relationship will never fret,
For you are the one who has always shown me the right way,
I owe you so much, I doubt if I'll ever be able to repay

I remember I was full of self-doubt,
Your presence helped me become a bit stout,
You showed me light and lifted me up,
Your friendship has always been to me like a golden cup

Having you by my side dear pal,
Seems to me like a treat royale,
I can't thank god enough for having me meet a friend like you
All I can say is that you are so far the sweetest person I knew
